Did the imps join of their own volition or were they put into their place when Atra showed up? I can't get the idea of Atra Mentra getting the imps to view her as leader out of my head, since they're all about fucking to dominate.
at This Point it's generational--the imps on this mountain have simply always been in her service, as far back as any of them can remember. i think in the beginning it was domination of the lead female, but she needn't do much now that the current living imps don't know of a time before her
