I noticed that a LOT of accounts who found themselves in controversies over cruel n horrible tweets about chn are rpf/nsfw accounts. I don't really know what to think about this, but I guess it's something worth pondering over.
i have been blocked by a good chunk of the nsfw rpf accounts, so i rarely see the tweets directly + i follow like 36 accounts and not all are skz focused and i only use my following tab on twitter.
but that is weird. are they primarily focused on ships not involving chan then? or do they also write chan a lot? no matter what i find it weird. criticising is alright, but just bashing is dumb and makes no sense.

Was the tweet you reposted along the lines of Felix doing a Kendall Jenner impression? (I think they went private).
That tweet felt misplaced and op was doing what other people were doing towards Chan. I don’t understand the act of shifting blame on one side or one member when unfortunately they are all partaking in these kinds of.collaborations
so it was a thread of 3 tweets and I think we read it very differently.

I didn't read it as shifting blame to Felix at all. I read it as a call out post for how pick and choose fans are being with which members they criticise. what I read those tweets as was if "YOU" as a fan choose to criticise chan (again for a group collaboration) why do "YOU" as a fan not bring the same energy to other members for their solo collaborations with problematic brands?
it was calling out hypocrisy in "fans" because they do tend to get extra vicious towards chan or blame him for shit that isn't on him entirely.
that was a callout thread for the fans dogpiling Chan. if people reads it as shifting blame they chose to do so instead of actually reading what was said. just because Felix is mentioned doesn't mean it's shifting blame to him. and also he does work with a brand that supports Israel. it's just a fact. hold the entire group accountable for all the things they do, but do it respectfully. and I would say the fans blaming solely Chan for this collab are the one shifting blame more than on thread on twitter with cencored names that was made to call out fans for their hypocritical ways.

you mean about working w lv? well for one i have been pretty vocal about not liking that for a long time.
and then those tweets were pointing out a lot of fans' hypocrite ways of critising chan compared to other members.
but also being critical of the choices of your faves is healthy. do not sell your own morals short for them. felix has done a lot of things i don't agree with including working with LV. (and I have been very vocal about not liking his work w Unicef.)
just like I don't agree with them working with zionists. I'm not gonna be streaming that song. but people praise Felix for working with a brand that also supports the Zionist agenda and then dogpile Chan for a GROUP Collab? sounds like double standards. that's what those tweets were about.

Tbh as much as I enjoy reading chn angst, I also really miss seeing him being written as confident and bold - not that people exploring his insecurities in fics is something bad no, it's just that it sometimes feels like his whole personality has been minimized to his insecurities and doubts. Kind of like a Flanderization of his character.
People also tend to forget that all of 5kz have their insecurities and complexes, chns just open about his.
yeah i get you, i think because he is so open about it compared to the others it's something a lot of people find easy to explore because we just know more details about it. (and maybe relate more to it too)
my own personal favourite type of chan is a chan that contains both his insecurities and his confidence. nobody is just one thing. but yeah there is a lot of fics that explores his insecurities.

i get the feeling that hvnjn crushed on chn at some point. in the earlier days, it seems like flx and hvnjn always battled for chn's attention and praise. like in a lot of their old videos, they always seem to be competing to take care of him, etc. lol what do you think of this?
i haven't taken notice of them competing for his attention in clips really? i think hyunjin might've been attracted to chan. lots of gulping. but yeah, i haven't noticed this really so i can't say. most old clips i see of hyunjin he's hanging off of changbin. i think it's good to remember that all of these guys adore chan, and feel grateful for him? bcs he did choose them. so in that way i think they'd love to be able to give back in any way possible. but yeah, haven't noticed anything, haven't really looked for it either.

at what point do you think chn started to look at flx as more than a little brother? like what do you think was the major turning point for each of them in realizing their feelings? and why couldn't have chn just kept looking at flx as a brother, like why and how did it become more than that? i would love your perspective on this.

i think late 2019 is when felix stopped being "just" a little brother to chan. even just platonically, i think felix became someone more "equal" to chan in how their relationship was in terms of support.
"why couldn't have chn just kept looking at flx as a brother,..." well we don't know if he stopped? or if he ever really did? we often use words that aren't precise to describe how we feel bcs we don't have any others.
i don't think chan truly viewed felix as a little brother, like he does with his actual brother. but that is the how we learn to talk about those close relationships?
sorry gonna go on a little rant about the allotistic view of the world here:
- we live in a society that says the most important relationships in your life is: family and your romantic partner. that is the massage we get served. friendships are never really high lighted as something to actually prioritise or place the same value on. so what do you do when you have a friend you really truly value and have immense love for? -> you compare them to family because you can't compare them to a romantic partner, that's something else. strong platonic feelings are for family only. sometimes we gotta remember that people just don't have the right words to describe what they feel. rant over
i think felix being there to give him support changed him from someone that chan needs to solely protect to someone he can lean on. and that does a lot to shift how you view someone. being able to let himself be vulnerable felix also does a lot. so yeah i think late 2019 bcs chan let himself be taken care of is what truly opened his eyes.

in the chnlix 2kr 2022, when the members say chn definitely likes flx more, do they mean chn likes flx more than flx likes chn or chn likes flx more than he likes the other members? bc IN says, "chn likes him more, because he really likes the members a lot", as in since chn is someone who likes his members a lot, he likes flx more than flx likes chn. what do you think?
pretty sure they meant compared to the other members. not in the chanlix dynamic itself. they're all aware that felix also means something different to chan compared to the rest of the members. or maybe there's a different bond between them is a better way to say it.
i doubt they'd ever imply that felix doesn't like chan, even if it is just less than chan likes him. they're aware of the shitstorm that could create. and there's plenty of "fans" that are already saying that felix hates chan. they wouldn't add to it.

i don't think so no. i think felix might have had a puppy crush on changbin back in the day. but honestly it was probably just a joke. or maybe chan knew felix had a crush and wanted to tease him. but i seriously doubt they were ever a thing. and this is not even from a chanlix bias speaking. i don't think changbin has ever viewed felix that way, no clips i have seen has given me that vibe.

i didn't know it was about bam !! that's so sweet. them being a thing? eh maybe. i think it's more likely that as we know they were just best friends and thick as thieves.
just read the lyrics and honestly it gives me more the feeling of someone who lost a person they could always turn to. chan lived in the day6/got7 dorm so there was probably a possibility that he was meant to debut with got7 or at least thought he would.
and then got7 debuts in 2014 and day6 debuts in 2015 so essentially chan is left alone bcs they're moved out of the trainee dorms into a dorm for the group. it honestly reads as very very lonely and feeling left behind to me. reminds me of when my best friend moved to the other side of the country when i was a kid and we spent basically all our time together and suddenly i had to figure out what to do bcs my routine hadn't changed really (i didn't pick her up on the way to school) but the person i did those things with were gone.

relationships here are meant as just a connection between people, platonic, romantic whatever.
i think changbin and hyunjin have one of the most solid relationships in the group. so i doubt it. changbin is such a straightforward guy, hyunjin knows exactly where he stands with him. also changbin showers him in love and praise.
also felix and hyunjin has built their relationship on communication bcs they don't intuitively get each other. (that's how i understand the way they talked about it) so even if he did, i am pretty sure they'd have talked about it. but honestly i doubt he is, i haven't noticed it but i also haven't looked for it. so i wouldn't even be able to think of a moment where it happened.

About chn's anger issues, I remember in one of his tktk lives he said something about getting angry bc someone said something about the kids or made them uncomfortable, and if I'm not mistaken he said he regretted the way he reacted. he said this after saying that we should participate in h=h fws, and this clip of him saying that we shouldn't do it is used a lot by antis, but I never saw anyone talking about what he said after. So I think we kinda don't talk about his issues as a way of protecting him?? We know he's like a punch bag for kp0p fans, he gets hates for every little thing and I know if he's anger issue was more talked about he'd definitely get a lot of hate bc of it
yeah he definitely also would get a lot of hate for it. i think it's a mixture of a lot of things. but all of this is a really good point.
i checked out of kpop as a whole during 3rd gen, so i honestly do not follow up on anything that isn't stray kids and even there i don't follow up on everything. so even half the time when there's drama with the kids i have no clue bcs it just doesn't pop up on my tl or my dashboard or if it does it's just people reacting without giving context lol.
i do know that a lot of people like to pile on chan tho, i have gathered that and half the time it's for shit that does not make sense. so yeah him opening up about anger issues could probably be construed as him not being safe around their biases or some bullshit like that.
