to get into character when preparing to tell a lie, make an instagram account of who you would be if that lie were true. really commit to it, make yourself believe it. that "lie" you're talking about ISN'T a lie, it's the cold hard truth and anyone who thinks otherwise deserves the death penalty.

for an example, let's say you cheated on your boyfriend with his best friend's mom. the mom considers your boyfriend to be her second son, and your boyfriend considers his best friend to be his brother and also considers proposing marriage to you every time he stares longingly into your eyes. your boyfriend is also newly orphaned, as his mother just died in a sledding accident and his best friend's mother comforted him at the funeral. so what do you do with this horrific lie other than be ashamed of yourself? MAKE THAT INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT.

the first picture of you is one where you are standing in a meadow on a sunny day, wearing the color of innocence (chartreuse). you caption it "i never fucked wayne, i never fucked drake, and i also never fucked my boyfriend's best friend's mother." the second picture is you and your boyfriend post-coitus. the caption? "he is the only person i have sex with." lastly, post a poll on your instagram story asking your followers if you would ever cheat on your boyfriend. use the poll results as evidence in your favor ONLY if most people say no. this instagram account is solid proof that you never cheated, especially not with your boyfriend's mother figure who took him into her family at his darkest hour.
