My regular vampire AU’s are usually based more on Western vampire fiction like Anne Rice, Dracula, True Blood, etc. but vampire anime is completely its own thing. Huge machine guns shaped like crucifixes, superpowered nuns, the vampires can have powers ranging from sprouting wings to laser eyes, if you’ve ever watched a vampire anime you know exactly what I’m talking about lol. I don’t really have a clear story in mind for a vampire anime AU for gillou it’s more just like an aesthetic rolling around in my head. Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing, Vassalord, Trinity Blood etc
