well i just think of a little prompt and start writing! ik that isnt much help 😭 thinking of an idea truly is the hardest part 💔 but honestly just think of something simple first and start with a short au! i never plan out my plots personally, i will just think like "omg binneul eloped in vegas" and go from that, so when i start i just go "okay lets put them both in vegas" then i find a way for them to meet. every person will go about writing differently, so just try different ways until you find the one that fits you! though i will say before anything else you do need a plot/idea/prompt 😭 rn i have it easy because my rs is full of prompts, but i do understand how hard it is to come up with ideas. just once you have something in mind, dont over think, just write! if you dont like it you can always start over 🙂‍↕️ then when you start writing, if you do socmed aus, my advice would be dont try to be funny. let your natural humor come out and if you think of a joke, dont put it in until it fits within the story. dont force words or try too hard to sell a plot. i hope this will make sense sit with me 😭😭😭 so when you write just make it a conversation, rather than taking socmed aus as a specific plot that needs to unfold, take it as twitter. make them talk to each other as you would with your friends rather than making them push a plot, I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE OMG im just mansplaining writing aus no, im yapping 😭 if something doesnt make sense or you want me to answer a different way you can come back or dm me 🫶🏻
