If it’s the content of the book, it’s the usual make it things you want to do, make sure you at least get it edited as much as possible so you don’t scream when you find a mistake after printing.
For the printing!
Make sure the book is properly typeset. I saw a writer once try to bring a word document and my print shop accepted it but it didn’t end up looking good… You can use image editing programs to typeset manually (if you or your print shop is particular) or use an automatic typesetter (if it’s more lax). Make sure to check with the print shop what they can do and what kind of files they need before typesetting.
For the cover I commission an artist or do collabs! Some artists have commercial usage terms, so make sure to check if writing fanbook falls under what for them. I usually also offer the artist a copy of the book with shipping on me. When collaborating, I discuss what % of profit we both get and if we’re all okay with it.
Printing the cover - I use a slightly thicker paper and color printing! Your print shop might have other options to make it fancier (lamination, for example!)

After that incident, Cyno takes an interest in Tighnari and starts looking for him whenever she can and starts calling him by the nickname "Nari". As they talk, the fennec begins to think that Cyno is more adorable than cool (although he still admires him). What Tighnari does not know is that Cyno fell in love with him and takes every opportunity to be with him and sometimes behaves out of character (impulsively and sometimes gives him looks full of his feelings about to overflow) (2/2)
Oh noooo I haven’t read Sasaki to Miyano (though I plan to)! But this scenario is so cool 😭😭 Imagining Cyno actually doesn’t look as if he really likes Tighnari so Tighnari didn’t know…

Hi! Do you know Sasaki to Miyano? It's okay, I was just thinking of an AU/CynoNari scene based on that anime. Tighnari is part of the school council and one day he finds some boys about to hit another and Nari doesn't know what to do. He calls another member of the council and decides to finally intervene, but is stopped by a senpai who looks like a delinquent, who he later learns is called Cyno (1/?)

hi!! in a recent ask answer you said that when you write something you really like/dislike, you examine it to figure out what worked or not, and i was curious how you do that usually? do you just reread and pay attention to phrasing and stuff, or do you actually take notes?
I usually just reread them and think about it! Actually a lot of my writing process is lying down on the floor or my bed and thinking about things so sometimes I just have the part I think about up while I do that 😂 Of course, sometimes I also don’t come up with answers on why I like/dislike it and get frustrated sobs… that aside! My best friend also has been editing my work for… I think 13 years now so I also defer a lot to her so sometimes I’d link her things and go “I like this” or “this is not my best work” and we chat about it so that helps too!

I wouldn’t be against it writing TighCyno if asked! I usually go with what I’m in the mood for and I tend to be a bit of a one trick pony when it comes to NSFW haha 😭

Writing tip!! When adding a dialogue tag in the middle of the sentence, you should frame it with commas.
For example, from your recent cnnr story:
“If I could be with you every night and every morning,” Cyno says, “then I’ll be happy.”
This has been a writing tip. Have a great day!
