hi!! in a recent ask answer you said that when you write something you really like/dislike, you examine it to figure out what worked or not, and i was curious how you do that usually? do you just reread and pay attention to phrasing and stuff, or do you actually take notes?
I usually just reread them and think about it! Actually a lot of my writing process is lying down on the floor or my bed and thinking about things so sometimes I just have the part I think about up while I do that 😂 Of course, sometimes I also don’t come up with answers on why I like/dislike it and get frustrated sobs… that aside! My best friend also has been editing my work for… I think 13 years now so I also defer a lot to her so sometimes I’d link her things and go “I like this” or “this is not my best work” and we chat about it so that helps too!
