What about a meeting between nations? Traveler drops Zhonglchi off at Alhaitham's house while he's working, so Kaveh plays host until he comes home. Then whatever happens before Haitham kicks them out 😂
Ahh, this is a cute idea! I'm imagining Zhongli and Alhaitham having a long standing pen pal arrangement discussing linguistics and history, but recently they've had an unsolvable argument over some ancient Liyuean dialect. Zhongli, feeling the need to prove he's correct and with plenty of time in his hands in retirement, decides to take some invaluable ancient text to Sumeru to validate his argument. Not realizing this penpal is the acting grand sage.
Childe is just dragged along for the ride (hmm, perhaps after the recent Fatui-incident he should even be in disguise? Maybe as a toyseller 😂). I'm filing this idea away for later!

Honestly, most of my ideas just pop in my head, often as a singular scene, though usually there's something in game/irl/in other media that sparks the idea. From there, I just really try to figure out what would change due to the scenario I'm thinking about, sort of taking a step further. What would need to happen for x to occur? What would x cause? How would x make the characters feel?
Many of my fics are written for a prompt and then it's often a matter of what I think would make it fit best in the world. What situation the prompted thing could happen in? I just toss around ideas, until I find a way for the prompt to fit

fellow bicycle Childe enjoyer here. Who do u think is the worst for him to be paired with, in a fascinating, cannot take eyes off them way? And conversely, aside from Zhongli, who do you think would be really good for him?
Pantaru for the fascinating trainwreck. Pantalone would be really, really bad for Childe, playing all his insecurities against him, but man there's just something there. There's other interesting Harbinger ships, too, but they aren't exactly healthy.
I think Diluc might actually work very well as a partner for Childe of they ever met (after an intense enemies to lovers plot). Or maybe Thoma. Kaeya would be fascinating, too, with the Abyss connection, but I'm not sure how good it would be, haha. Maybe as fwb?

It's almost December and my silly thoughts are consumed by Zhongli and Childe in grand fur coats going on a sleigh ride. Also Zhongli turning into Chonkli so Childe can drag him around and push him down hills on a sled. Also he has a lil matching fatui winter fit and boots
Aww, these are such cute ideas! Maybe Teucer has a matching coat to his brother that Dragonli could borrow? Combine that with an enormous scarf to keep the old lizard warm 🥺 Oh, and Childe blowing on Dragonli's paws and rubbing them between his hands to warm them up when they come back inside!

what are your favorite (besides zhongchi lol) ships on genshin?
I like most heavily implied ships! Eimiko and Beiguang are probably my other favorites, as well as Thomato/Ayathoma. There's potential in Alhaitham/kaveh, but I'll have to see a bit more of them in game. And Childe is my fandom bicycle, haha, though only really as pre-Zhongli or post 1.1 rebound because zhongchili hyperfixation trumps all 😂

Upon hearing about Childe's dalliances with the Geo Archon the Tsaritsa exiles him to a monastery to cleanse himself of worldly desires. If it turns out he's pregnant, he's sent to a convent since they'll provide more support. Could be comedy, could be angst?

Prompt: healer Childe. Like Barbara or Kokomi, but the hydro is red..looks like blood. It is blood?! The blood of his enemies 🍷 also he still says unhinged challenging things while healing comrades, so it's like they revive just so they can fight him later, or at least not let him get the last word
