el hyunchan es real. that's all i got

real talk my memory works mostly through vague impressions so i can't give you a timeline of events that's set in stone ! as a rule of thumb I'll ship almost anything, even my NOTP i can somewhat get behind, so there's the baseline level of interest that exists across all ships sorta thing . in terms of what Sparked it, i think I've said this before but i read a couple of fics back to back that really sparked more of a Focused Interest in the two of them (see: perfect for you, such a habit to call, until we both grew tired)

after That, a lot of it is due to Mag. it was one of those things where everything lines up cause in the midst of this bout of hyunchanning, Mag and i started talking about the ship and that was really what did me in. im very easily persuaded and have limited object permanence so whatever people talk to me about is the thing I'll be really into. hanging my head in shame

before I got Into Them the main thought was "wow they look good together" and "ueueueue chan's hand around hyunjin's throat ueueueue" cause. Red Lights. anddd when i read fics with them either as the main pairing or a side pairing I'd go "huh! that's neat"

what DO i like about their dynamic....... they're both very intense in that thinly veiled way... chan is overflowing with love and affection and hyunjin is the perfect receptacle for it.... hyunjin's bouts of intense yearning are quite in sync to my own feelings towards bang chan, too...... they're both pretty and i think the moment where chan would have to tilt his head up to look hyunjin in the eyes is endearing.... and, as with every other pairing, their love for each other runs deep and it's sooo visible... i like that they're an Extraverted/Introverted pairing... i like that they're both so deeply committed to their art... straight up vibes here
