your art looks so good right now! the poses of your affoshade art look so much more natural and your lineart and colouring are stunning! idk if you used all the tips you received but it made a huge difference!

ANOOOONN 😞😞 mgonna sob ur such a sweetheart but yea i tried 2 include everyone’s tips and i like it a lot more than anything else ive made recently so :3

I heard through the grapevine that if you don't check whatsapp very soon something bad will happen Just what thegrapevine was saying though

maybe you don't like your poses because you're too bogged down in anatomy. people who don't care as much about anatomy are happier to make their poses look flowy and dynamic. with an art style like yours which isn't entirely realistic, it's okay to take some liberties with anatomy (without making it look disproportioned) to make prioritise your art looking natural and dynamic

unironically trace cool ass anime drawings. draw rockstar over gohan or L from death note or smth

anon · 27d

UGH YEAH RT ON THE EYES COMPLIMENT THEYTE GORJUS

anon · 27d

your work is gorgeous, but i feel that sometimes your art is a tad stiff & uninteresting, pose wise. i believe figuresketching or maybe using a wider variety of references would benefit you! your use of colors is very well done, i always get excited for the next drawing ^__^ ! the way u do eyes are also very nice hehe

AWWW i’m glad u get excited sniffles it means a lot… yea sum1 said stuff abt poses looking stiff so i’m working on it :D

anon · 27d

i recommend using a thicker brush than you usually do and then using the eraser to mess with the parts you want to be thinner !! it might be easier and quicker ^^

anon · 27d

dunno if that made sense. and its not a you thing it's a twitter thing. pfps are small and cropped so fine details can look confusing or whatever so having a simple doodle-able style to accompany your main one could get people coming back to your art more!

anon · 27d

meow its me your best oomfie ever (koter) jot a criticism. i love ur art full stop. but it might be cute if you developed a like mini doodle style as well as your current but like.. more simple less fine details? people really like seeing their favs cute and simple and whatever and idk if ur good w people pfp'ing your art but loads of artists blow up from people using their work as pfps and it only really happens when they draw cutesy icons of their favs and stuff

KOTSAAAMU BESY FRIEND BUT YEAH UR RIGJT i’ve been working on one :p its silly i can send u what i’ve done :0

anon · 27d

hi kyne :) i think you could work on lineweight, your work is stunning but all of the lines seem to have the same thickness or very similar ones -- if you use thicker lines for main parts and thinner for details it would be fun to see!

hallo anon :3 ur definitely right i struggle w lineweight a bit because. hooray finger and phone artist but im working on it ^^

anon · 27d

work on your poses and attempt to make them more dynamic. in the years I've known you you have a wonderful, unique art style and many ideas but some of them can fall flat because of the lack of flow in the posing. I'd suggest studying photo references and anatomy books!

YEAH UR RIGHT… anatomy is so evil and weird sometimes and a lot of the time my sketches (which i tend to do on paper) do not translate as. flowy? when i line them digitally but other than that i do tend to use photo references… might be time to pick an anatomy book up again

anon · 27d

No problem! You'll do great. I would tell you that you have potential but, well, you're already fulfilling it... but I know your art will only continue to improve.

anon · 27d

Also, it might look good to let your colouring tell the story of the details instead of lineart. Lots of little bits of lineart can seem a bit messy or grainy, especially if the lineart is black. Instead of including wrinkles, skin folds, stubble etc in your lineart, include it in your colouring - let the shading imply where there are skin boundaries and such.

OUHHH I SEE :0 i’m definitely more of a lineart guy myself bc shading properly isn’t one of my strong suits unless i have an exact ref but ill give it a go :D someone told me to try coloured lineart b4 too so ill mix it up a bit :3

anon · 27d

Your colouring is SO pretty. I like it a lot. The colours you use are gorgeous. However, sometimes your shading does seem a bit streaky? - your art might benefit from more subtle gradients (still using sharp shading contrasts where necessary though. The PFP of this retrospring account is actually a gorgeous example of what I mean. You handled the shading and colours wonderfully.)

AWWWW ANON BLESS 🙁🙁 ur so lovely i appreciate the feedback!! ill defo try and use it more one of the reasons i haven’t is because i haven’t figured out how to replicate what i did here 😭 thank u so much though!!!
