Hi! Your FAQ says that you're a split profit/charity zine, but you say "Proceeds collected up until a certain stretch goal will be put towards compensating contributors." so this means that the split won't be 50/50? Cause "Further profits made by the zine will be put towards a charity donation" seems to me that if the zine ends up selling more than expected, then the split could be like 40/60. I'm asking just out of curiosity cause of the way it was worded.
Hello! Thank you for your question. Our interest check results indicated most would be interested in a for-profit project, thus, profits will be split evenly between contributors and mods once sales and production concludes. All contributors will receive a full digital bundle, free of charge, while free physical compensation will depend on sales.
As the for-profit preference was below 50%, we are exploring non-conventional splits which would allow us to still donate to charity while prioritising our contributors first. These details are being finalised and will be revealed during our preorder period!
In terms of charity, this will only be available once we reach a certain stretch goal.
