🪱 - HEY NO WORRIES, TRUST ME. I asked bc I have an OC I think could make a cool storyline with her, not even romantically, but as a fellow artist and writer I'm out here respecting boundaries. 🫡 I'm autistic tho so please tell me if I'm ever too much LOL my ass cannot tell!!!
Anyway speaking of Bedrock...
Does she participate in anything outside of SR? I know her joy and optimism: gone.png but she'd be damn good at inksports I'm sure.
But it doesn't have to be inksports only! She could enjoy... regular sports, or hiking or some kind of hobby! Girl who works night shifts at a museum (the skeletons and fossils 😉 do get a lil quirky at night).

SORRY I KEEP FORGETTING I HAVE RETROSPRING ummm hmm hmm... honestlyyyyy... i know that motorcross kinda perks her ears a bit. she Was starting to get into it before fossil died, but when tragedy struck she decided to focus fully on salmon run. she still has her old bike somewhere i bet!

Second: LOVE TOXIC YURI. Was Bedrock able to slay the cohozuna, or at least wound it and claim a trophy (ex: scales, fang, a whole fin)?
Further, was Bedrock ever considered for an Elite position? If I'm understanding correctly she's had skill before Grizzco. You could add another parallel here if, say, Bedrock was a Sargent at one point. She could've had that innate desire to teach, guide and watch others grow, which carried into coaching at Grizzco (albeit tainted by tragedy). - 🪱

also... i dont think so!! her and fossil werent really ambitious in the army, so they wouldnt have aimed to become elites... HOWEVER you are right that bedrock Does have an innate desire to teach and lead... so if she gave a fuck about the octarian army she totes would have... she's driven to coach people at grizzco to try and avoid tragedies like fossil's death

HAHA IM SO GLAD UR INTERESTED. as for naming conventions i named her fossil because.... underground... lol. NOPE theyre not siblings! they (were) best friends... but also kinda in a relationship? think about an unhealthily codependent homoerotic lesbian relationship.. yeah... that was them...
yes they escaped the underground together! bedrock actually killed one of their own during their escape attempt when they almost recaptured Fossil, though she never told fossil (too much was going on for her to realise) to keep her concience clear.... honestly this event can parallel to how bedrock failed to save fossil when she was bit down on by a rabid cohozuna and dragged down into the ocean. bedrock had always been prepared to sacrifice all lives for fossil, but ultimately still couldn't save her

I love danger, GIVE ME THE GIRL ANGST. Bedrock helping newbies could be so sweet... she should get attached to one for the hurt/comfort potential (less romantic, more maternal feelings manifesting. Could be fun to explore her desperation to suppress these feelings/dread from previous trauma, but now there's another person involed who cares. It's easy to coast through trauma on your lonesome, but having a curious, concerned foil could be fun!! Sorry I'm insane i love OCs).
Maybe she could get payed to coach baby teams, too: accompany them as a 5th, or have an individual shadow her in higher hazard levels. See above. - 🪲
ur so right... honestly if it didnt take me so much brainpower to come up with ocs then maybe i Would make a little crewmember like this... but at the same time, after the thing with Fossil it's hard to get attatched to people, and she kinda actively avoids it, save a few cephies.... who knows! maybe in the future i Will refine this idea.
also, she doesn't get payed to coach others like that, she does it to help them avoid disastrous scenarios... again, due to Fossil's death

What's Bedrock's least favorite SR stage? I guess in this case, location of deployment lol. Any reasons why? Perhaps an injury or loss of a teammate.
And speaking of teammates, if shes a freelancer, is she patient enough to handle bad teammates? Personally i want to choke people who party with their specials after w3 -🪲
oho... ohohoho.... you bringing up loss of a teammate is sooooooo dangerous of you. in that case, she'd hate Sockeye Station. that stage is associated with Fossil's death as well as the traumatic start of the first big run (im writing a little snippet about her reaction, since she was out on a shift when it first started)
also, she tends to stick with teams she knows 60% of the time, but often goes freelancing in order to help others find their footing. she actually demotes herself so she can help part-timers and all that.
if someone's bad but genuinely trying their best, maybe she'd be annoyed but willing to help them. but if someone's goofing off like how you mentioned she absolutely WILL unleash all hell of reprimands upon them
