Do you guys think someone complaining about not doing work while clearly not doing it is annoying, or wrong of them? if you saw someone who you knew a) complains about work a lot and b) you never see them do work, would you dislike them for it? just curious

Hm, not really ... Mostly because I can understand ? I have a lot to do right now, and here I am on retrospring dot net. But I wouldn't be really annoyed, and I especially wouldn't break a friendship over that. I don't feel it's exactly hypocritical. Moreso just .. being.

As an example, I struggle with basic self care. Showering, keeping my nails nice, and so on. And I " complain " about it in a way; as in I want to stop doing that, but I just can't. It's hard to.

And that's why I wouldn't dislike someone for doing that. It can be hard. And I get that.

Just remember that you're trying. Improvement & progress don't come overnight; and just wanting to do those things is progress.

Just be nice to yourself & others !
