Depends on the ratio of goodness to recency. Everything Everywhere All at Once was a great movie, but I saw it a lot less recently than a few Studio Ghibli films, and those are always good. And in between seeing those, I saw The Marvels and Quantumania, which weren't bad either. That's pretty much all the last few movies I've seen, though, so I guess I just like most of the movies I watch. Though Everything Everywhere All at Once really stood out, and I did see Wonka which sucked balls. The story was okay, I thought, but the musical numbers didn't have good melodies, and the acting was largely hokey because it was intended for kids. It's so stupid that movies that are made for kids, especially the hokey ones, usually hide the fact in their trailers, and movie trailers in general tend to be aimed more for the mainstream than the movies themselves are...I mean, if you want to appeal to the mainstream audience, why not just make a mainstream movie, rather than making a movie that appeals to a narrower audience and then deceiving everyone? Especially given that you'd think that would lower their ratings. It makes no sense.

i have not watched any movies but i have been watching pilots on youtube! i'm loving the ramshackle pilot and look forward to see any future work on them. if i were to choose a movie i'd say is the best (from word of mouth), spiderman across the spiderverse? but my favourite movie would probably be spirited away
