omg yes. i actually have four cats at the moment, two of them are mine and two are fosters. but i'll focus on rose since she's the one you were referring to. i've had her for a year and a half, i trapped her and her kittens after i spotted them lurking around my area! one of my neighbours had been feeding her. she was so terrified of humans, and even now that she loves me, she has like..... cat anxiety. she's a Very anxious cat. she takes anxiety medication. she gets scared of storms and loud noises and runs to me for comfort and protection because i'm her ESH (emotional support human) (totally real and not made up thing). she's super sweet despite her anxiety and talkative too, she's always beeping at me and loves cuddles, and she loves being kissed on her face too, she's my only cat who likes face kisses ;_; this isn't a specific Story though, i don't know if i have any actual stories. she's escaped a few times. she can do some tricks! she used to refuse to pee in the litter tray and i had to try so many things to figure out how to get her to stop peeing everywhere. she's the best ever and i love her so much, i almost don't want her to get adopted because i'm so smitten with her. but she doesn't like some of my other cats so i know she'd do better in a home to herself, so i do hope she gets adopted one day soon!

i think because it deals with such serious themes it's understandably a very divisive topic, even among people who have the mental illnesses that kinda parallel yandere behaviours. i don't think it's wrong for people to be hurt by it, and share that they find it hurtful, as long as they're not doing it in a super insulting way (which i don't think either anon did, they were just disappointed and trying to educate me, which is totally okay to me, regardless of tone). i also don't think you're wrong for liking yanderes and not associating them with bpd/etc, but you can only control yourself, ultimately - some people are going to make those associations whether we like it or not, and other people are going to feel hurt by that association, even if it was never our intention to connect the two when we made our yandere content. this will be my last thing i post about this because i don't think my account is the best place to middleman discourse (feel free to qrt/reply to this tweet to continue discussing it if you like, but i probably won't contribute), but i wanted to have your side shared as well just to be fair!
