heyyy i read thru your rentry and i just want to lyk that some intersex people (me. im me) like the term hermaphrodite and use it proudly and allow others to call them such. as a baseline it's great to mention not every intersex person likes it (or even fits the label) but this is like the "queer is a slur!" vs. "queer is a label" thing. i just feel like there should be a foot note or something. otherwise great rentry :] /gen
I understand dw! I use the term hermaphrodite for myself! Im not sure if i should add that only intersex ppl can use it for other intersex people if said intersex person is comfy with it or if perisex people can too (if said intersex person is comfy) as its still considered a slur... which one would be better?
