I would just like to say, you may see me refer to someone or myself as 'a part', this is bc i do not wish to self diagnose with an identity disorder nor do i want to call myself a system or 'alter', 'headmate', 'introject' 'fictive' etc.

But regardless of me not wanting to use these terms, i still have 'parts'. If ykyk!

Please never refer to me as a system, alter, etc. either. I am just a part of... myself. I hope this kinda makes sense, if needed i can just ask you personally to use a different name or pronouns on me.

Hello!! Well to put it simple: intersex means being born with both female and male characteristics. (we basically dont fit into the male or female box) this can be genitalia, horomonal, chromosomal, etc!

Something that is important to know is that theres no way to 'look' intersex, if you are going to have an intersex OC or multiple its deff good to have varitations!!! I often see ppl make intersex characters automatically androgynous, and although this is the case for some intersex ppl it deff isnt the case for us all! some of us look rlly fem or rlly masc. Its also important to note that a lot of intersex ppl dont often know they were born intersex, a common misconception is that intersex folks immediately are aware that they were born intersex while a majority of us only find out during teenage years or even adulthood (or never!)

its also important to look into specific intersex disorders! I for example have NCAH, but there are so many different variations that have a different affect on every person!!

(also it would also be fun to make your intersex character have more complex identities, as for a lot of us intersex ppl our gender identities are complexer! Just dont make all of them agender or nonbinary or smthing! theres a lot of binary intersex ppl!!)
