sure! i've been a fan of his work for some time. he doesn’t shy away from the darker aspects of human nature, which makes the characters feel real, flawed, and the narrative feels timeless. i don't want to go into it too much just in case you're looking to read it for yourself (if you haven't already), but i do believe it'll be worth your time!

Mister Howl, do you have any advice for making close friends in uni??

admittedly, not really. the only advice i can really give you is to not be afraid to put yourself out there. most of the friendships i made at university were made by being put together for group projects, or at societies. you've just got to find the confidence to actually speak to people.

i feel like if i saw you in a bookstore, i would end up staring at you through the racks of books, hiding my face in one as i peek at you above the pages,, i’d pretend to search in the same section as you, maybe make a small comment about a cover or title in hopes you’d continue the conversation,, just from your account & tweets alone, i'm enamored by you

Mister. Have you read George Orwell's 1984? I am planning to buy it, so may I have your book review about it?

i have, though i didn’t find it as compelling as many seem to. orwell’s portrayal of a dystopian society is definitely sharp, but the writing felt heavy-handed at times, and the characters lacked the depth i tend to look for in a story. it’s an important book, certainly, with ideas worth considering, but it wasn't my cup of tea.
