That’s how long it’s taken Atsumu to charm his way into Sakusa Kiyoomi’s good graces.

It’s been the longest year of Atsumu’s life—but he’d never strayed, even when temptation had literally landed in his lap.

He skates his hand up her calf, slow and steady. “Better be careful about your excuses, Kiyoomi. I might start thinking ya actually care.”

Kiyoomi releases his chin, straightening back up to her full height. Even without heels, she’s taller than him—and now, knelt down at her feet, she looms above him and clearly revels in her advantage.

Her foot moves away from between his legs, leaving him aching and cold. Fuck. He’d rut against her shoe, if she let him. He really would.

Instead, her foot travels upward, over the plane of his stomach, the muscles of his chest, up and up, until her leg is fully over his shoulder, and the sharp heel of her shoe digs into his back as she pulls him in closer.

Atsumu grins right back, covering her hand with his own. “Guess I’m feeling lucky tonight, Omi.” He slips deftly away from her grip on his tie, starting to turn away. “Better get back to your party. Maybe I’ll catch you later.”

There’s a pleased satisfaction lurking behind Kiyoomi’s gaze. “Maybe you will.”

The next few hours are sure to pass slowly but they’ll be worth it. Far better than the fleeting satisfaction of a few minutes snuck away in the dark.

Awww, that's super kind of you! Thank you! Mostly I like to go back and look at manga panels every once in a while to help keep canon fresh in my brain... I think when you read a lot of fic or spend a lot of time on twt, it's easy to get fanon mixed up with canon (which is fine ofc... just a different vibe and not what I'm usually going for, though there are some exceptions lol). I also like discussing head canon ideas with friends and get their reactions.

...And in the absence of canon material, just make it up and sprinkle in details that make it feel like a real person. I still can't believe I wrote a 17k fic from Joffe's perspective... a guy who has not one single canon sentence in the whole manga and is there for one chapter lmao. But it was a hell of a lot of fun!

I will say I have considered writing a sequel to Vintage for one singular purpose and that would be to make Kiyoomi bottom lmao. I had such a hard time deciding positions/preferences for that fic because I felt like there were soooo many fun scenarios that could work.

At the same time, I REALLY gave them a significant age gap and I struggle to see their relationship working out long-term. I think I wrote a line in the fic that was something to the effect of Atsumu enjoying the idea of being on Kiyoomi’s arm as a bit of a trophy for a little while before going their separate ways. As a bit of an eternal romantic when I write, I think this is the main reason I’ve never truly opened up a doc to write a sequel for this universe lol.

For some actual FUN post Vintage headcanons like you asked for: I absolutely think that massage changed Kiyoomi’s life and he wants another one. He’s like 90% convinced that it’s just going to be a massage that he’s going to pay for and that’s going to be all. He got the curiosity out of his system, his lust has been slaked, etc etc, insert all of those ridiculous notions and so he’s convinced himself that he can reach out for another massage without it turning into anything else.

Hmmm, this is a good question and even I’m not sure I know the answer lol.

I do tend to write a variety of dynamics because I think skts can pull it off and it’s fun to explore different ideas, experiences, preferences, settings, etc.

From a romantic relationship perspective, writing their banter is probably my favorite thing to do. I struggle when it comes to confessions/admittance of feelings mostly because I am not quite sold on how either of them would act in the situation.

In terms of their sexual relationship, I have an obvious preference for bottom Kiyoomi + service top Atsumu (with a hint of them occasionally switching it up for fun). But honestly, I like writing all sorts of dynamics because I think it’s fun to experiment.

With as many fics/words I write each year, I think it would feel a little boring to me to always write the same version of skts, which is why you see me mix it up with some frequency. I try my best to keep them in character but shrug shit happens lol.
