hi! first of all u r incredible and one of my fave fic writers EVER everything u write is pure gold thank u so much for sharing it with us 🥹 how do u go about characterizing all the different characters u write?
Awww, that's super kind of you! Thank you! Mostly I like to go back and look at manga panels every once in a while to help keep canon fresh in my brain... I think when you read a lot of fic or spend a lot of time on twt, it's easy to get fanon mixed up with canon (which is fine ofc... just a different vibe and not what I'm usually going for, though there are some exceptions lol). I also like discussing head canon ideas with friends and get their reactions.
...And in the absence of canon material, just make it up and sprinkle in details that make it feel like a real person. I still can't believe I wrote a 17k fic from Joffe's perspective... a guy who has not one single canon sentence in the whole manga and is there for one chapter lmao. But it was a hell of a lot of fun!
