For me, it's ironically cats and dogs. It’s funny (and maybe a bit odd) considering how much I enjoy writing hybrids, often involving animal traits, and here I am, actually afraid of the very animals my hybrid characters are based on.

Dogs, in particular, make me nervous. There was this one time I had to mute someone who I didn't even follow but they're moots with my moots and they just used endless dog gifs. I didn’t want to seem rude, but the constant flood of them made my skin crawl. It's just one of those irrational things I can't quite explain.

And cats, well, there's a specific cat gif that one of my moots uses, and every single time it appears in my feed, I get literal chills. It’s not like I dislike cats or dogs per se, but there’s just something about the unpredictability of animals that unnerves me. It’s weird because, like I said, I love writing characters that have these animalistic traits, yet I have this deep-seated fear of the real-life versions. Life is full of strange contradictions like that, I guess.
