hi pine :) i’ve been in the server for a little over a year now, and it’s been nice getting to know you! i’ve always been a bit scared of everyone because im younger and chatting anyway is hard for me, but i’ve met a lot of people and it has been a good experience!! i love your designs.
i wanted to ask, when/how did people start to recognize your amazing design ability and adopt your designs? it’s interesting to me to learn how big artists got big :)

honestly i dont really know 'when' because ive never felt like there was a big boom in activity, its more like a really really gradual slider over the past 7 years, but i mostly started off just spamming cheap base designs/adopts on deviantart and got as many designs out that i could, so people knew my name (kinda like spreading flyers irl?). i was young so i didnt care too much about underselling and spent literally all day posting adopts. i used to be obsessed over posting and trying to get all the numbers up but these days ive learnt that interacting and growing friends and community is way better for sales, and also benefits everyone involved instead of just me!
