I think what was mostly handled in a not ideal way is this lumping of sfw/nsfw when it comes to fan spaces. because i understand the need to censor some content, and that some fans are not understanding of shipping let alone rpf or nsfw content. but i feel like the line was drawn at not exactly the right place (of course not to mention that this line never truly existed and that anything posted in an online public place might still find its way to the "other side". but yeah. my issue was always this lumping of all shipping/rpf accounts into the nsfw when in fact...many of them weren't all about nsfw content. i just think it's better to let people curate their own space as they see fitting. and i hope you've been able to find your people and curate your space the way you feel most comfortable with!
