answering four days too late but,,, i do have a few, most of them personal goals i've been kind of struggling with irl that i finally want to address and work on, but when it comes to writing/reading: i've mentioned a couple on twt, like wanting to branch out to other ships and other types of stories. my most important goal, though, is wanting to pay attention more to the characterization. i think part of the reason why i've been so stuck when it comes to writing is that i keep worrying about the characters i build, not only if they're ooc, but also the tropes and stereotypes i'm becoming more and more aware of as i read other fics. it's making me a lot more wary not to feed into that, and therefore i'm feeling stuck in a way. i want to be more critical of my own writing in that sense, and i want to be better at actually accepting other people's opinions of my works, both the good and the bad.
other than that i really want to try something with a lot of world building! fantasy au style. i have a wip idea in mind and i've talked about it with a friend once but since it'll take a LOT of work i'm putting it on hold for a while, but it's definitely something i want to work on this year!
