How do you find it in your heart to forgive people after they've been unnecessarily mean to you? especially when you can't or don't want to be mean back to them
forgiveness is tough especially if it’s to someone who doesn’t see/acknowledge what they’ve done wrong but i guess it’s best to look at it as you doing a favour to yourself rather than them? holding on to sadness and anger will only fester inside of you while they live on in ignorant bliss so think of it as you removing what they’ve done from your headspace. i’d also advise distancing from someone who does that consistently however i don’t know your particular situation anon. i hope you get the clarity you’re searching for with this situation and thank you for seeing me as someone you could ask advice from
