jing yuan is just… so good. i love how he’s the only one out of the hcq who is well adjusted and that’s because he sees life for what it is; fleeting. and that’s not to say he doesnt have any attachments, he does. he has crazy attachments to his friends. but he deals with loss in a healthy way—he accepts them for what they are. that’s why he allows himself to move beyond the past despite how much it hurts, that’s he has a disciple and surrounds himself with people who can take up his mantle when he’s gone. he just… knows… and that’s a testament to the love that he feels.
