I think I still prefer to not write it, but it's nice to try to challenge myself sometimes! (And I got convinced to do it XD)

hi... just finished reading ale witches & moonlight summons and oh my god... that was so beautiful... i was so hooked every chapter and THE WAY YOU WRITE, YOUR WORDS — EVERYTHING ITS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL IT BRINGS ME TO TEARS (in a good way of course!) Some of the many favorite parts of the story would be mark calling donghyuck beautiful, mark saying donghyuck's name like a prayer, and the realization of donghyuck PRAYING TO THE WRONV GOD AHHHHH

I wanted to let you know that a friend shared your fanfic « To Catch a Pitch » and I fell in love immediately. I never read anything that made me feel so strongly about the whole story line, but also with the characters. I loved to discover each of the characters’ development. I wish I discovered you and your writing earlier. Please, please keep up with your amazing work.

Hii i was wondering how long you plan for to lean into the pitch? Bc the first one was 300k and this already has 80k HOW do you have the patience and ability to write so much?? That being said i love every update it’s become of my favourite stories <3
In terms of word count? I have no idea! I kind of just go with the flow and see what happens haha Right now, it has about twenty-seven chapters planned, but it could expand depending on how long the baseball games get. I'm also currently at 100k, so maybe another 50-80k? Or even another 100? We'll see!

I'm really happy that you like the story so much and I hope to have a new chapter up soon. Life has gotten away from me the last several months, but it's slowly coming back into my grasp, so fingers crossed I'll get back into a groove again :)

I just binge-read Chasing Homeruns and woah. You are such a good writer. I really like the pacing of the stories and the character growth and development that can be seen throughout!!! Everything is so good. Oh my gosh. Anyways!!! That's all I wanted to say :) I hope you havea great day :D

By the way, I hope you’re taking your time as in you don’t feel pressured to post anything if you don’t want to or something. I don’t know how to say this but just- if you don’t think you’re ready to upload a new chapter or whatever after your hiatus, it’s like okay. Take your time :)

I don't really like being away for so long because I don't like making people wait, but I also don't want to post something I didn't put all my effort into, you know? I noticed hc keeps blaming himself for what happened (he also implied this when him and mk were forced to spend the day together) and I hope the team or anyone rly is able to help him understand that he had no fault in this :(((
Yeah, he does sort of blame himself for it, you're right. It's really hard for people, who have gone through something like he has, to realize that it isn't their fault. Obviously, it isn't, at all. Anyone who goes through something like that is certainly not at fault. It's the person who committed the crime, who should be blamed. It's also a lot harder when you're a child/teenager. You don't want to seem stupid or like you walked right into it (even though you weren't and you didn't). As someone who has dealt with SA before, it's almost a natural response to blame yourself because you think back on it and go, "How did I not notice? How did I walk right into that? All the signs were there." Donghyuck just has to go through the motions until he realizes that, no, nothing about that situation was his fault. He was a child and that person was an adult and they should have been trustworthy. He has such a good support system around him now and I have no doubt that, in time, he'll discover that and learn to know it definitely wasn't his fault.

gawdddd i was hoping my assumptions wouldn’t be right but his coach IS SHIT that teammate that saw is SHIT im glad haechna has a better support system and team now :( also the fact that rj punched him (!!) and his first thought was “u cant do anything bc im in kahoots with the league” is very telling and i feel like that’ll be a problem in the future if anyone brings up what he’s done >:/
Oh, he's is a total piece of work, I agree! Writing Renjun punching him was super therapeutic for me haha But people like him can't hide for long, so we'll have to see what happens! At least we know Donghyuck is with much better people now :)
