hello yes!! my partner got it for me for chrimbus, i started playing a few weeks ago. i'm really enjoying it! my main party has been karlach, shadowheart, and astarion, i like them all a lot!

i think in terms of like. general character vibes? my favorite is karlach, she's so funny and every time she does her lil idle jig it makes me laugh. her story is interesting too so far although i think i still maybe have a lot of story left of it? i just got to the point where she can touch people now, idk how much is left. in terms of storyline i think my favorite right now might be shadowheart. i'm about to finish gauntlet of shar and i'm very eager to free her from her evil shadow cult (although i had to stop bc i realized if you get too far without going to that creche quest for lae'zel then lae'zel gets mad and LEAVES??? DFKJG so i'm doing lae'zel's stuff right now) 🥰 astarion is also fun, his VA really did put his whole pussy into that performance and his story seems very interesting so far although i haven't unlocked a lot of it bc i decided to go all in on romancing shadowheart so all i know is that he's a vampire, a sassy bitch, and has an evil tramp stamp hbbdfhbhbh i hear there's fun stuff in act 3 (trying to avoid spoilers tho).

i hope you write it!! i think there is not enough tsujimura fan art/fic in this fandom ;_; i've done my best to contribute to tsujimura nation but it's hard out there for a gaiden enjoyer. i do super agree that he really seems to have like. an interesting "soft" spot for her despite putting up a cold/harsh exterior? i think post-dark era ango really took dazai's "everything i want i lose" mini speech to heart, and i think he's actually been WORSE about avoiding close relationships with the people around him than dazai. like dazai keeps his distance from his peers too but i also think dazai is a natural extrovert (the fandom tends to disagree with me on this kjfgskjdf but idk i think dazai very clearly desires to be around people but punishes himself by avoiding them. born 2 extrovert forced 2 introvert etc etc) whereas i do think ango is more of a natural introvert already, so like between that and his enormous guilt over what happened in dark era, he's so so reticent to even appear approachable to his colleagues and subordinates i think. which just makes a potential relationship between ango and tsujimura even more spicy to me. tsujimura also has so much baggage and i think ango would be a really interesting person to help her unpack this too? especially with the way his ability works and whatnot. they're an interesting pair!

i wonder about this sooo much. i honestly really like the "dazai was the former mafia boss's son" theory. i don't think it's gonna ever be canon bc i think if it were it probably would have been revealed in 15 in that opening scene where mori and dazai are talking about why dazai isn't dead yet (honestly i wouldn't be surprised if asagiri never gives us dazai's full pre-mafia backstory, it feels like a donut hole we are meant to fill on our own) but mafia heir dazai is a juicy concept to me. idk i think that mori's explanation of choosing dazai to witness the boss's death because he would be easy to get rid of (due to dazai already being suicidal) is kind of weak to me. like it never really made sense to me that the entire mafia believed this random kid in mori's clinic. why was dazai allowed in the room in the first place? maybe mori just had that kind of power already that he could drag some random 14-yo into the mafia boss's bedroom on the pretense of him being a suicide risk, but also idk it's all mad fishy to me. it does make "dazai's blood runs mafia black/dazai was born to be a mafia" a little more literal which some might find cliche but i think is a fun concept. dazai working against his nature AND his bloodline to be on the side of good, etc etc. it would also explain his loneliness and his weird fascination with death, if he had grown up around all that carnage, especially as the previous boss was starting to go mad. like maybe he was meant to be the previous boss's heir. or maybe he was an illegitimate child. it's so hard to tell, but i feel like dazai doesn't give off "grew up in the streets" to me energy, even if the sheep tried to recruit him (allegedly, assuming dazai wasn't lying lol).

but honestly idk. in no longer human, oba grows up very lonely and also is sexual abused, it's possible that this is dazai's trauma too :( i've seen a lot of fic explore headcanons of dazai and sexual abuse under mori but not a lot exploring the possibility of dazai experiencing this prior to mori (or maybe they exist and are just for ships i don't read fic for lol, very possible ksjdhfg). i think the most plausible answers for why dazai is the way he is is probably in no longer human. which i am due for a reread on, but maybe not in the middle of winter ldkjfhg

ohhh that's a really interesting theory!! i'm so curious about the tanizakis' backstory, like junichirou being based on SUCH a famous author and yet kind of being sidelined most of the time is so fascinating to me. like every time i see someone make a "top japanese authors" i always see tanizaki at the top of the list, and yet in the ada he's like. this unassuming guy. can't tell if this is asagiri saying he's overrated (lol) or if he has big plans for him that we just haven't gotten to yet. bc also lowkey he IS the most insane in the ada lskdjfgh i think a lot about how asagiri said in that bsd exhibition that popopretty translated about how tanizaki is closest to "evil". i think government experimentation is super plausible in this universe!!! his ability is so powerful i have a hard time believing he was never on anyone's radar as much as he tries to self-describe as just a little guy with no skills or talents.

also SUPER AGREE about naomi being smarter than she looks, i feel like she is really smart and capable actually. like i just really wanna know what their DEAL IS. government experimentation would be really fun. in a situation where the tanizakis escaped some sort of experimental group i could see naomi being the one actively plotting their escape while junichirou carries it out with his powerful ability. it would be a fun reveal!!
