also AHHH im so sorry this is sooo late (almost a MONTH IM SO SORRYYYYYY) i swear i havent forgotten this at all ;;;;;;

i tend to go around with ocs bc the brain will rot what it will rot hahha. mayhaps i think abt this couple today, and tomorrow abt this chaotic quadrupletes. i cant really say i have a super fave that overpowers everyone else (for some weird reason i dont), but i do have ones that i feel attached to.

do u ever see that post where the creator just places a bit of themselves on their ocs? thats what i often feel abt bianca and lithus honestly! bianca's a judge, but sometimes court stenographer (depends on the rot really), and is a stern but caring mother to her kids. she's also a part of a quadruplet where she's the straight man with her two funny men + a brooding person on the side.

lithus is an fl oc that i unfortunately didnt appreciate at first until a good friend ignited my love for the game lore. she's a socialite! beloved by most and flitting to parties after parties to indulge herself, be it the food, honey, or people themselves. she also loves too easily, always giving a piece of her heart to others even if it will become a knife that will hurt her in the end. always look to love, as the fallen city would say. one of the factors that i came to appreciate her a lot is bc her full name is monolithus, where the name i have comes from! /laughs

for others, im afraid im only familiar with my friends' ocs only but i will try to give them the full appreciation that they deserve!

dex's ocs is a WHOLE menagerie but i am always fond of caden! phoenix bitch boi who always argues with a demon who looks like a kid and she relishes this fact greatly \hl. his backstory is also immaculate 10/10 will be hurt again. i like how silab crafts her ocs in a whim but also place so much life on them hahah. kantot and hc are def a good faves of mine they r simply iconic. and cyps r just gurgling noises take my heart will you? augur always makes me cry bc of multitude reasons. capnoodles’ r super funny at times HAHHAH like she has a water genasi pc named hong that goes to my pc’s library and well, the interaction between her and my pc’s dad was super funny bc books + water isnt a fun combination lol. i adore carbs’ too! they either have this vry detailed bg or just a whimsical oc and they do work its kind of funny. i always go eye emoji whenever klaude has this shady business happening in the bg HHAHHA

i think i had yelled this in the ramble acc but im always particular of the separation of the embrace & victor as his name in my fics! tbh just embrace in general! (SHAKES THIS SAD VAMPIRE) I LOVE HIM YOUR HONOR

for simplicity sake, ill just refer victor as that most of the time bc this is going to be a LOT i apologize in advance /laughs.

this is just my penchant with angst talking, but i always love showing how victor sees himself in bloodline au. who is he, at his very core? there's so many hcs i can conjure on how victor came to be as embrace, connecting it with his herald skin for consistency, but how victor fell from grace remained the same for me; all he wanted to do was help, but the power he was given wasn't for helping at /all./ thus he is soon reviled as a monster, and as he fell into despair from the futility of his actions, he accepted being one and even prove that yes, he is a /monster/ everyone believed. :)

names are power, in some way. its an identity you see and an agency over yourself, and it is what you want others to see you as, even if it wouldn't be the same perspective for others. with victor, his name is somewhat a link to his humanity- the very thing that made him want to try /helping/ others. but as most would notice in my embrace fics, the name victor is near non-existent when referring to the vampire progenitor himself :).

its a way to show that he long abandoned those ideals, his /humanity/. ala him 'accepting his dark side,' and letting others prove that he is, after all, a monster they see him as. he cant change their minds, no matter how he would try, so why bother fighting anymore? as fbg had wrote in their game, 'become fire rather than be burnt.' its better for victor to become embrace instead and make their accusations be truth rather than always be hurt trying his best to help them only to fail miserably and be subjected by more scorn and anger.

its also victor losing his belief towards humanity and turning his back from them.

it doesnt help too that eventually, victor believes that he's monstrous enough to have a human name, thus the embrace title.

this is also why i kind of make this a thing with vampire husbands fic, where aesop vehemently refuses to call human victor by anything but his name, especially when he's his reincarnation. the embrace is a title revered and feared to most, it not all. it has weight, it has power, but it also isolates victor from the rest of them. i made this joke in the server once, but aesop calling embrace endearments is just him trying to close the gap between them since it is vry weird for the husband to keep calling him his title (at least to aesop /laughs)

so yeah, this is basically my thoughts over the embrace & victor divide thats going on in my fics hahaha im sorry this took a while i got distracted a lot :skull:

NCKASJCNK it was 3 am that time I DID conked out after watching the movie HAHHA but u ask and u shall receive! fair warning tho, they're genderbent here like i mentioned @ the post /laughs

so, like in the movie, victor is arranged to be married. but they dont like each other in a way that the one shes bound to marry is terrified of her and victor herself doesnt want to make her more scared. it wasn't long until victor decided to run away bc she felt terrible of forcing someone who is scared to marry her and the constant pressuring of her family didnt help.

she eventually finds herself in a garden, the whole expanse of them long wilted except this one patch of land that seems to have a lot of yellow roses. it was there that victor meets aesop and predictably, victor's soul left her body bc /a living corpse/ just right in front of her hahaha,

victor was then whisked away to the place where the dead do their things. i was thinking the hunters are these and they often dote aesop along with robbie bc boy did she die young and for love too (michi, joseph, and violetta tends to fixate on this lol). victor eventually learns how aesop died while she was waiting for her love, remarking that given on how 'misanthropic' aesop is to most, this person must be special to make her fall for them.

victor decided to stay in the underworld since she has no plan in returning anyway, and the people are more than happy to welcome her. its aesvic so they r. vry slow when it comes to developing their relationship /laughs. aesop gives victor her pet puppy who died prematurely (aesop happened to be in the area when wick was being buried) and they do play a duet when victor knew that aesop plays a piano. just those tiny things that they would get to know each other. others might also nudge them here and there just bc they seem happy when they're together

SANFAS op i hope u know u made me think of a more elaborate plot but im afraid this is getting too long already HAHAH but victor wills stay with aesop and have an elaborate wedding with the citizens of the underworld as their guests bc they deserve it 😤

oooh this is a tricky one for the both of them.

ngl, my knee jerk response for victor is gryffindor bc. red. traits wise? it doesn't really fit him in some ways. younger victor strikes me as a pushover, more so of his social anxiety. he's the type of guy that is scared of confronting conflict, you know? he'd rather keep quiet or run away than to rock the boat further. my best bet for him is hufflepuff bc he's a vry hard worker! spreading himself thin bc he doesnt do half-measures! he usually helps people in things, but unless it's about talking or fighting, then he's so /not/ gonna do it. he has a patience of a saint, but only if the saint back talks a /lot/ in their mind especially when he gets frustrated and all.

for aesop, it's ravenclaw! he's is not a genius /genius/, but he's vry good at getting resources, be it lessons or items in general. its mostly bc he doesn't like to interact people and /loathes/ asking about things, so his lists upon lists of resources is just his insistence and sheer stubbornness of being alone lol. he does give the vibe of a slytherin but his ambition is. vry lax and like, not something he's ready to start a war for. not something that 'ID DO ANYTHING TO FULFILL IT' kind of ambition. he just wanna send people off peacefully like his uncle in the future as some kind of wizard mortician, thats all.

DEFINITELY esteemed person/protector and other variation of it (royalty/knight, for example). there's a certain charm where the protector realizes that their need to protect the other no longer just stems from their loyalty and the esteemed person fearing their protector's safety more, if they havent in the first place, because they grew to deeply care for them and is even devastated at the very thought of their death. its the melodrama of it all /laughs

aside from that, i love enemies to lovers, MONSTER/HUMAN, the :D!!! w/ the >:T, where chara A orders around chara b who grumbles but does their bidding bc they dont mind at all, mutual unrequited (bc they're idiots), the couple that tries to hide they're together but failing hilariously (and vice versa where they don't even try to hide it but others still think they arent dating), and some others that i cant think abt jcnakma. it all depends on the mood honestly hahaha

BLOODLINE JACKSEPH,,,,,,,, omg i always think of them as like exes (even divorced) that r still both down bad with each other. they claim otherwise, but they do miss each other (probably meet each other in secret, just to know whats up with the other. yeah ITS THAT BAD of a denial)

the separation likely involved with power titles involving politics, having different perspectives in certain important things that placed a rift between them, and it got to the point they have to do the last resort (divorcing). banquet stuff happen, and joseph is on top now, but the satisfaction of being the most powerful vampire in the covenant rings hollow w/o jack by his side. he always thought that he'd reach here without losing him in the end u_u
