This guy on twitter just said "I am muslim and gay and proud" Is he in danger? (According to the teachings it is okay to be gay as muslim, (jew) or christian as long as you don't live out your sexuality.)

It certainly doesn't sound to be safe around fundamentalist muslims when you're gay.
As long as the islamic community views basic human rights as "an attack to their values" I'm afraid that will not change for the better.
