There is no such stipulation in any of the texts, this is merely propaganda to refurbish religion, as it were. Basically, you're saying its ok to have these feelings, just don't act on them. If there were such a benevolent god, I don't believe for 5 seconds it'd have a problem with gay people. Its almost as if the religious are just full of shit.

If he lives in a muslim country he might be in danger..he either has to repress his sexuality forever,or live out his sexuality and be in danger cause it's illegal in some muslim countries. I can't stand homophobia,it's dumb.

Whether he's in danger from other people depends on where he lives and who sees his tweets. He can definitely be a danger(?) to himself though. Having to repress your sexuality due to your cultural/religious beliefs almost never works out... something has to be dropped

It certainly doesn't sound to be safe around fundamentalist muslims when you're gay.
As long as the islamic community views basic human rights as "an attack to their values" I'm afraid that will not change for the better.

Same as what my mom thinks lol. If it was me I would accept i am no longer a Muslim or whatever. In a way this is colluding with the oppression. Making oneself the outcast. These people who stand up are brave. Challenging from within. I've done in in a different context. And yes there are risks. There will be those who wish to silence u, humiliate you, punish your transgression from the norm.

If that's true, then what does it mean to 'live out' ? What gets you eternal damnation? A kiss? A BJ? Scissoring? A dirty magazine? Marching at pride? We don't have any clarity here and God (by the way, all of those faiths you mentioned worship the exact same being) specifically cautioned (at least in the Bible) about men trying to speak for him
