If I could guarantee a legal and physically safe experience during your trip, would you be willing to take a strong psychedelic drug? (Think DMT, Acid etc.)

No, I don't want to try psychedelic drugs. They could be harmful and psychedelic experiences aren't real so they're pointless, in my opinion. I like the idea of escaping this world or consciousness but I want to actually leave this world not pretend to. Another thing is people say you have to be in the right state of mind when you use them. I don't like that. I can't guarantee I'd be in the right state of mind and if the experience was real, your mood shouldn't affect it. Some people report good hallucinations and others report bad hallucinations. Some people say their experience was great and others say it was nothing special. I've never heard of anybody who's used psychedelics learning or doing anything significant or changing for the better. Nobody ever learned special facts or secrets of the universe or talked to dead people or whatever. Nobody ever gained superpowers or transported to a better world. All they did was see pretty colors and cool shapes. They're all still ordinary people stuck in this shitty world with everyone else. They're all still in the same boat as everyone else so I see no reason to try psychedelics. It's just something people do for fun. There's nothing great or remarkable about it.
