What's the most unlikely but possible event?

Story Time: We find out that people who got COVID never truly recover and start evolving in ways that cause a threat to those who aren't infected. So the world takes a radical measure to to separate these two groups and overnight all racism and sexism stops as hatred turns to those in the other party. They live in peace for about 5 years until the 'well people' find out that the 'sick people' are breeding at a radical rate. This is where world war 3 happens and the only weapons used are propaganda and biological warfare. No one wins, the final wave of the pandemic hits and millions die in the process. A dictator breaks the democracy by using a sterilising weapon on the opposition to end the war. Then racism returns against that dictators original country. Humanity hangs on by a thread as our reproduction rate falls apart. Some learn from this and relinquish the hatred from their hearts as they realise its a never ending cycle - the majority fickly carry on. Billions die, and societies attitude is too busy hating to reflect and mourn the double extinction event they survive through.
