Bruce Springsteen has been fined $500 for DUI. Should there be a sliding scale for fines (like in Switzerland) where the richer you are the more you pay? Is that fairer? Unfair? Tell me.

Yeah I'm a fan of proportional fines... however, I understand thats likely an administrative nightmare to do (i.e. rich people hide assets well, others might lie and then you have to go to the tax man to find out).
