How would you reach someone out whom you didn't talk much recently?

Just be humble and talking about general things or something in common you guys two have. But it depends on each otherā€™s energy, lucky you if itā€™s click but if you didnā€™t, stop it there.

I just casually said hi and asked how they've been. I might also ask if they have any plans for the weekend.

I barely reach out someone first, especially in that case. But if there's something, I'll just say hi, ask how they're doing, and then get to the point.

If enough time passes since you last spoke with them, consider them someone who just drifted away. You usually can feel it when that's the case. If you contact someone who just so happen to have left your life gracefully, it can be a bit like urinating on some of your good memories with that person.

Iā€™ll just reach them out through private message and just talk basically about anything. Or if itā€™s too awkward, I always try to reply to their tweet.

I'd straight away text them, "Itā€™s been a while since we last caught up. I was thinking about you and wanted to see how youā€™ve been." Like that.

I'd rather stay silent and let the relationship fall apart because, as much as I wanted to reach out, the other person might not be happy with my appearance.

Iā€™d probably asking about their life updates, how they feels lately, or anything that I could ask.

If weā€™re close enough and we havenā€™t talk much for some period of times, Iā€™d try my best to reach them out, asking about the life update and everything. But, if we arenā€™t that close, Iā€™d simply remove them because I donā€™t want to spend much energy on that.

Usually, it kicks off by asking how theyā€™re doing and what theyā€™ve been up to, then moves on to casual chat. To be honest, I often feel awkward talking to someone I havenā€™t spoken to in a while. šŸ˜
