I used to be so proud of how logical and calm I could be under pressure … and then I had a child and everything changed. Now almost everything makes me feel stupid. For example (happened years ago), our patio sliding door latch malfunctioned when I stepped out for a sec and locked me out of the house with my baby inside. I panicked and ran from neighbors house to neighbors house until someone answered the door and texted my husband. And this whole time… we had a ring camera that I could have just pressed a button on and would have connected me to my husband immediately. So dumb.
