I have and always have had very low self esteem. Perhaps because I grew up with a father who criticized every little thing , even the way I sneezed. So when you grow up believing you can’t do anything right, you rarely feel confident. Therefore, nothing really makes you feel good about yourself. I mean, just the other day my dad bet I didnt know the answer to the integral from 0 to pi of cos(2x). I was speechless…do I have the answer memorized? No… but… how low must your opinion be of me , your daughter, who does this shit for a living ? Anyway. That’s my everyday. Even when he’s not directly there, I always feel like I’m being watched and judged on my every move and everyone is disappointed.
