Also, when people compliment me! Recently posted some stories on my IG. People complimented me. Felt good! Maybe vain but still I liked it!

I do love a thoughtful complement. But exercise, companionship and helping people also does the trick too.

When her head rests on my bum. It convinces me each time that I am loved not only for my bum. If that does make any sense at all.

When I express myself through writing, art, music, etc. Those are things that I'm talented at, and I feel good using those forms of expression. Also when I help someone else and I can tell that they feel good because of it. :)

I have and always have had very low self esteem. Perhaps because I grew up with a father who criticized every little thing , even the way I sneezed. So when you grow up believing you can’t do anything right, you rarely feel confident. Therefore, nothing really makes you feel good about yourself. I mean, just the other day my dad bet I didnt know the answer to the integral from 0 to pi of cos(2x). I was speechless…do I have the answer memorized? No… but… how low must your opinion be of me , your daughter, who does this shit for a living ? Anyway. That’s my everyday. Even when he’s not directly there, I always feel like I’m being watched and judged on my every move and everyone is disappointed.
