What is meant by asking for a portfolio while also asking for apps to stay anonymous? Seems contradictory?
A portfolio can be anonymous by using such things as Google Drive and keeping names out as much as possible. You are free to do as you wish but we would prefer to keep it as anonymous as possible to remain unbiased.

are ao3 links allowed as samples? i know the applications are supposed to be anonymous, but it also says they're okay, so i was just wondering what was going on there
This is alright. We do prefer to keep the apps as anonymous as possible but will accept A03 links.

I don't quite understand what we are supposed to link as samples on the artist application, specially since later on we have to share a portfolio... is it not the same?
Samples are a little different than a portfolio because they give us a quick glimpse into your art, what you like to draw, and your preferred style. Samples will be what you consider your best work and can still be included in your portfolio if you so choose to do so. Think of them kind of like previews that are meant to pique the moderators ' interest.

Yes. We would love to see a mix of AUs and Canon content. Variety is the spice of life after all.

links to ao3 works are allowed for writer application, right?
Yes, linking your A03 as your portfolio is allowed. We try to keep apps as anonymous as possible but also understand how much work goes into putting together a portfolio, so we are allowing A03 links.

Assuming this will be the same answer as OC’s, but doesn’t hurt to ask—will there be any x-reader opportunities or is this zine strictly canon/canon in terms of shipping?
Since OCs are restricted we have decided to do so with x Readers as well, in order to keep from any confusion. This is subject to change if a decent amount of interest is shown in x reader during the IC.

are ocs allowed in the dead dove? Like as minor characters if its all going to focus canon characters.
Canon characters will be the focus of this zine and at this time we are not allowing OCs.

Is incest and pseudo-incest allowed? Like Luffy/Ace and Sabo/Ace
Yes, this is allowed. The only content not allowed at this point is sexual content involving underage characters. All else is fair game.
