Bruce Springsteen has been fined $500 for DUI. Should there be a sliding scale for fines (like in Switzerland) where the richer you are the more you pay? Is that fairer? Unfair? Tell me.

He hasn’t been convicted of DUI, he’s plead guilty to consuming alcohol in a New Jersey national park where drinking is banned. If you’re rich in this country, you just hire Mr Loophole who’ll argue your innocence based on the position of the stamp on the envelope!
