Despite certain... hiccups here and there (most of which were personal), Elio's childhood was pretty comfortable and filled with so much love and care from nearly everyone around him; however, due to his elder siblings raising him more than his grandfather, he would do his utmost to spend as much time with his children while preventing them from being infected with a toxic mindset just as his elder siblings (un)intentionally did to him - using both his personal experiences and keen observations on his children's lifestyle as a proper guide. While respecting boundaries when necessary, he'd also made sure that they weren't spoiled rotten by steadily instilling a sense of independence; regardless, like any other loving and responsible parent, he'll make concessions should any physical or mental problems arise, just as his Pokemon parents had done for him when he was emotionally-stunted.
