When he attended TUA, Elio was a business/economics major - which was simplistic to him since he was already making waves in the economic world via his investments and frighteningly-keen understanding of both the global markets and individual regional markets from a rather tender age in part to Ardyn's influence and his "other education". He passed his classes with ease in lieu of his bare minimum attendance - though some were online, much to his convenience, getting nothing less than an A in all of his given assignments.

Furthermore, as he's part of the 20% that realized Aura and mastered it to a certain extent, he's also majored in [Aura Erudition] - labeled as "Martial Esoterism" from the external perspective to hide its true nature from the other 80% that live normal lives. Since such classes took precedence due to the nature of Aura, Elio considers it his 'primary study', with the aforementioned being used as a front; in fact, Elio and the rest of the 20% get preferential treatment - being allowed to attend skip classes of their given major and received limited funding and supplies so long as it's used to either hone their Aura or focus on a variety of disciplines and tasks associated with said esoterism.
