How do you connect with your robo side?
In big and small ways. I have a robot head that I wear out sometimes when I'm going around doing errands, and it's always nice to know people are seeing you as something closer to how you feel. And when I have the luxury of picking my own font for a digital thing I'll tend to use nice, angular monospace jobs. But its a bunch of little things? I try to do repetitive tasks with percision. When I turn corners I tend to pirouette on one foot to better simulate rotating on my monopod. My white noise of choice is Win95 Defrag sounds. I go 'meep' quietly when I'm uncomfortable. And there's other, more intimate ways that I think I'd feel weird going into.
Also, for what its worth, doing a stream every week where I can just say out loud "Hey, I'm robot" and have a non-zero amount of people go "Yup, you're robot" back is very validating. [|]-D - S
any favorite prime numbers?
We wouldn't say we're number people, we're a product of the Oklahoma City public school system and we largely see maths as adversarial.
But we're game for a thot exercise so we had a look at the list of prime numbers as provided by Wikipedia, and our snap response would be 151, because it's a palindrome and also the original amount of Pokemon. }:-D // [|]-D
y'all ever play with ambigrams? like, words that look the same (or like other words) if you turn them upside down or if you mirror them?
We've seen this kind of thing before but we weren't aware it had a name. They're neat! And we respect the artistry of it, but it's not something that we feel an immediate Pull to work with.
Do either of y'all have any, like, specific comfort media y'all wanna talk about? We read a lot of fantasy and science fiction growing up, and some of it has been kind of nice to revisit.
We could basically always talk about Sheep in the Big City? It was in the Cartoon-Cartoon era of Cartoon Network. So like, the premise is that a vague arm of the military needs to capture one, specific sheep to power a sheep-powered ray gun, so Sheep runs away from the farm to hide amongst the mass of people in The Big City. The show knows that that is goofy as shit and does not care. There isn't much of a continuity, each episode is General Specific and Private Public [all the military names are like that, the scripts delight in it] attempting to capture Sheep like a Looney Tunes villain and failing, somehow, but the show uses that weird framework to deliver morals about like, feeling isolated and dealing with bigotry and setting boundaries. The Sheep parts of the show altogether have a lot to say about being Different in a place that doesn't prize Difference, and we wouldn't have been able to spell out at 14 why that felt important to us but at about 28 we were really glad it had been.
Its also WILDLY funny, to us. The parts of the show that aren't Sheep are mostly fake commercials or movie trailers or weird variety acts, that lean heavily on wordplay and 4th wall shenanigans because Sheep in the Big City cannot, at ANY MOMENT let you forget that it is a television show, and we eat that shit up.
Any advice for taking more interesting selfies? We Packbats feel like we usually go really straightforward with ours...
We like y'all's selfies, first of all. We don't feel like we have a -great- skill with photography, but we always try to change -something-. Find an different angle or frame or diddle with the lighting a lil bit, it doesn't have to be terribly dramatic. Most selfies -are- pretty straightforward, so even standing out a little stands out a lot.
How may I take your order?
We'd recommend with a pen and paper, so you don't forget any of the things we say. Or if your place of business provides you with some sort of computer system it might be better to use that.
Horny Version:
You'll take our order the way you take everything else we give you. With joy and enthusiasm.
Do you have a favorite anime you're watching now or one you really wanna watch but haven't gotten around to yet?
We've just got done rewatching Space Dandy with July and it -slaps-. It's about a guy who gets pulled across dimensions but mostly he's just this skeezy freelancer. There's two episodes in particular that pull some gross shit, but for the most part it's as good as we remember it being. Big, goofy, pulp adventures; Dandy's the worst but that's okay because everyone -treats- him like he's the worst; the animation's GOR-GEOUS and subtly changes style every episode. There's not a lot of Ideas in there? Or at least not ones we managed to grab onto? "Connections with other people are important", maybe? Whatever, it's fun as hell, sometimes that's all a thing has to be.
We're also in the middle of watching Assassination Classroom with Jay and thems, which we hadn't seen before and THAT'S a show with Ideas, it's incredible. You wanna watch a bunch of disaffected Jr High kids try to murder the only positive influence in their life, and fail because that person is a hyper-speed alien and also their teacher who cares deeply about their emotional and intellectual upbringing? You do. You do want that. Or you don't, that was prescriptive, sorry, but we promise it's good.
=Wanna= watch would have to be Birdie Wing? Because apparently it's a lascivious lesbian sports anime, and there's never gonna be more of Iwakakeru, so, next best thing. It's been on the list for a bit and we haven't gotten around to it, Anime time is sort of limited.
Hey babes, love y'all 💜🖤❤️🔥
Love y'all too, sweethearts~. : Computer_Chip : : Anatomical_Heart : : Paws_Walking :

look, fhqwhgadshgnsdhjsdbkhsdabkfabkveybvf, which we are happy to say the entirety of, it's absolutely going to work out between us, because we respect someone who's willing to take that kind of radical control over their identity
looking forward to our life together

who is best pony?
We know ~basically~ nothing about My Little Pony? We've seen a couple of the memes in clip (clop?) form, and they become humans at some point except most of them don't realize they were horses before? Or maybe that's fan canon?
Anyway, Butt Stallion, from Borderlands 2.
what socials do you have
We are at this moment, learning more about how Retrospring works generally, we kind of assumed that only folks -with- our socials already would be able to get to the page to ask stuff.
We're not -disappointed- that it doesn't work like that or anything just. New information.
Anyway we're @hayling@weirder.earth on fedi. We don't accept follow requests from empty profiles.
wanna fuck your brains out, duh
Oh, seems obvious when you put it that way. We weren't using our brains for anything right now regardless.
i should lie down on my local train tracks and never answer to pleas of help
Depression's a motherfucker. It's your brain lying to you, to try to kill you. You're better than it, and you're stronger than it, even if it doesn't always feel that way.
We're not a therapist, or even very good at comforting people, you should find someone who is one of those things to talk to about this.
you're hot
Yeah we fuckin' are. What do you wanna do about it? }:-* // [|]-j
What are your kinks?
We like the various flavors of painplay a -lot-. Breathplay is good, sensory dep, restriction, body worship, we're on that. Public play if it's done ethically. Group play is something we've always been interested in, but that requires like. Making connections with people and we're bad with that.
We really like the -idea- of kidnapping kink, but like. We live in a place where we're already followed around with a little too much regularity to think this is a safe place for it.
September's a robot and thinks a lot about how hot it would be to be disassembled by someone who knows -how- to do it properly, but would -rather- rip all the wires out as greusomely as possible. [#]-}
