As far as I can tell, it's leftist, alt-right, MRAs, and gamers who do the most traffic. So gamers I guess :-P

Nah seriously, I say you find your topic that interests you and/or inflames your passions, something you can yak about all day and still be interesting and engaged. Don't worry about numbers right away - you get the content right and people will find you
