hi! i’ve got some concerns about your financial situation, can you please list in detail your team’s specific experience?
Hey there anon! We appreciate the concern and would like to answer your question.
To beginn; Our finance mod has a lot of real life experience in finances as part of his regular job in which she manages large programming budget for a large public institution. Since further details of this and her everyday job are confidential we will not be giving out more specific info. However: In past roles our mod Bear has advised on financial aid, financial literacy, college applications, resumes and career advising and takes people's trust extremely seriously.
Our finance mod has also been a successful finance intern for another Zine (Fragments of Fate: A Ghost Trick Zine) which allowed her to not only assist with the zines expenses but also learn every step to become a leading finance mod for our zine now! Not only are they qualified for this, but work alongside our production mod who also has a big share of experience in Zine modding as a finance moderator. Thank you for reaching out!

Hi! I was wondering what exactly does "pitch submission" consist of?
Hello there! A pitch is an overall and first idea of what you would like to create for the zine. This can be a short description of an artwork or fanfiction idea you already have! However, pitches may still change once accepted and do not NEED to be submitted to be accepted!

hello, is the submission process going to be anonymous? i.e., should names be attached to written/drawn works in the file name or in the doc? most major fandom zines i've seen have used anonymous submissions to avoid "cliques" or choosing based off of popularity, so i was wondering if a similar strategy was being employed here. thanks!
Hello there!
The mods will take a look at every portfolio first - away from the username to avoid choosing based off popularity only, therefore each and every ones work will be rated "blindly."
However, we do also accept portfolios that are social media accounts or Ao3 accounts and will also rate them based on own preference - so NOT making a submission anonymously (e.g. by leaving in watermarks) is also completely fine. In short: Your artworks/portfolio may include no name, but we also won't disqualify any work that does include a name.

hello! question about writer apps! I was wondering why samples cannot be longer than 2,000 words but the actual story written for the zine can be up to 2,500? In order to showcase how a writer would use the 2,500 words in the zine, would it make sense to allow up to 2,500 word samples? Or, if not, then is the hard limit exactly 2,000 words or is it possible to go over (by 100, 200 words)?
Hello there, thank you for your question! We keep the word limit by 2K (not more than a sentence or two) mostly because we have a lot of fic samples to read! Asking for 3 around 2K samples already leaves us with 6K of words per writer and since we would like to take our time reading all your beautiful work we decided to keep the application wordcount lower than what you are allowed to write inside the zine itself. Additionally to this we would like to see if there can be a nice balance between quantity over quality given!
In short; Please keep your samples as close to 2K as possible, one or two sentences over! Thank you for reaching out!

Forgive me if this information is available elsewhere, but will this zine be accepting cosplayer applications, or is it just exclusive to artists/writers?
Hello there, no problem! Your answer cannot be found yet as our mod team is currently being build up and will discuss together what kind of applications will be accepted. :) Once it comes close to the contributor applications opening there will be all the information needed! Thank you so much!

What’s the actual zine about?
The actual zine will feature different AUs based on the contributors prompts! Therefore you will see Klavier/Apollo in many different constellations and situations - away from "the canon!"

hi, when will mod app results be released? do u need more apps for any roles in particular?
Hello! Our schedule has slightly changed since the opening of our Interest Check (it has been updated on our Carrd), Mod App Results will be released on MAY 15! So far we have the least applications for "Finance" such as "Production/Shipping" Mods! We still encourage people to hand in their application until the 10th of may for whatever position they like!

Hi, sorry for doubling up on here and Tumblr, but I was curious about the application for financial mod. I'm assuming prior experience means specifically for those with prior financial moderation zine experience and not anyone with experience doing some form of bookkeeping, correct? Hello there! Thank you for reaching out! Prior experience with finances/bookkeeping and money handling generally is definitely enough to apply as well! Of course prior financial moderation zine experience is welcome - but we have gotten some great applications of people handling other projects as well that we will consider as mods!
