Car question: I understand why some people lift their trucks, but why do some weirdos lower their trucks? Like, they should get a normal car instead?

Here in California, it’s part of the “lowrider” (Chicano/Mexican-American) culture that started sometime in the 1940s. You’ll see many of these in Southern California, especially Los Angeles. Many of the vehicles have hydraulics on them and are used as show vehicles or for special occasions such as weekend cruising with car clubs.
