This is especially true for Meta Knight!

Sometimes Kirby is approaching him in the hall and Meta Knight does his usual dramatics of unsheathing Galaxia and flaring his cape out into his wings -- but without skipping a beat Kirby just keeps walking up until he reaches him and they slow hug. Then they both just carry on like nothing happened. Silly borb communication.

One time Dedede witnessed this exact thing. Seeing MK go from normal to 'fight me' to huggles and back to burrito-mode like that was really...something. It was sweet, not gonna lie, but he really didn't know what to make of that 😹

Maybe next time he sees MK in the hall he might get the idea to start approaching him with intent. Meta does his s t a n c e and when Dedede gets to him he just...pats his head. It makes his eyes dilate lol -- He wasn't expecting that from Dedede.
