When the album first came out, I sent a link of ‘Tower’ to one of my friends, saying something like, “I hope you’re not wearing headphones.” Later that night I was in a supermarket and I was speaking to the checkout guy as I was packing my stuff. He said he was going to be finished work soon and said, “What time is it?” My phone was lying on the counter and I tapped the screen to wake it up. At that very instant my friend sent a message saying, “I loved that very much, especially the screaming bit.” It popped up on the screen as we were both looking right at it. You couldn’t not read it! He said, “…especially the screaming bit?!?!?” I was mortified and started laughing saying, “IT’S ABOUT A SONG, HONEST!” He said, “Oh…kay…” I still don’t know if he believed me.
