Ever since I got my new phone last year I've been having an annoying problem with the volume control while using my speaker over WiFi - it worked fine before, and still works fine over Bluetooth (but that's a whole other story). It shows the correct level on the lock screen but is wildly out on the music app. Anyway, after trying everything I could think of - including setting everything up from scratch again - I decided to look in the "advanced settings" for WiFi streaming on the speaker's app. Oh dear... It's all abbreviations and tech-speak. Reader, I gave up feeling like a halfwit.
