How do you make peace with your wounds?

Accepting that I'm hurt and weakened by it, but realizing that it won't kill me, it'll make me stronger one way or another.

Mengikhlaskan. Apa yang berlalu, kita ikhlaskan aja. Berdamai pada luka memang gak mudah, tapi mengenang luka juga ga bisa terus-terusan kamu lakuin. Memang kalimat ikhlas itu cuma mudah dikatakan, tapi gak mudah dijalankan. Tapi sesuatu yang dibawa mengalir, bisa berujung dengan baik kok. 🤍

Acceptance is the key. Convince myself that I can heal wounds and find new happiness tomorrow. It's okay to feel sad, but don't let it linger or bring myself down. After the sadness subsides, engaging in positive activities or chatting with friends/new people is my way of distraction afterward.
